How to Add a Tip

To add a new command tip or comment, please follow these steps:

1. Login if you haven't already, so you can edit pages.
2. Go the main page for command tips/comments. First look to see if the command in question is already in the list.
3. If the command is not listed, click the Edit button to edit the list page. If it is listed, click on the command link and skip to step 7.
4. At the bottom of the page, add a list item for the command. It should look something like this:

   * [A4D-regex-match|Fun with regular expressions]

The text after the [ and before the | is the page name. Please use the prefix "A4D-" for Active4D and "OT-" for ObjectTools and replace spaces with "-" when naming pages. The text after the | and before the ] is the text you want to appear in the list.

1. Click Save to save the page.
2. You should see your new item with a dotted underline under the text. Click on the text.
3. An editor for the page will appear. Enter your tip or comment. Please don't change what others have entered!
4. Use the Preview button to make sure the page looks the way you want, then click Save to save it. Done!
