How to Add a Tip
To add a new command tip or comment, please follow these steps:
- Login if you haven't already, so you can edit pages.
- Go the main page for command tips/comments. First look to see if the command in question is already in the list.
- If the command is not listed, click the Edit button to edit the list page. If it is listed, click on the command link and skip to step 7.
- At the bottom of the page, add a list item for the command. It should look something like this:
* [A4D-regex-match|Fun with regular expressions]
The text after the [ and before the | is the page name. Please use the prefix "A4D-" for Active4D and "OT-" for ObjectTools and replace spaces with "-" when naming pages. The text after the | and before the ] is the text you want to appear in the list.
- Click Save to save the page.
- You should see your new item with a dotted underline under the text. Click on the text.
- An editor for the page will appear. Enter your tip or comment. Please don't change what others have entered!
- Use the Preview button to make sure the page looks the way you want, then click Save to save it. Done!
